Once the application is approved, applicants will be notified via email to create a User ID and password for online trading.
Clients who already hold a CDS account can gain trading access on the UTRADE Trading Platform through any of the following:
An email will be sent with a link to manually register a User ID and password for the UTRADE Trading Platform once the trading account is available.
The account opening application takes approximately 2–3 working days to process, depending on circumstances.

A CDS account is required in order to buy and sell shares in the Malaysian equities market.
